We had a team barbequeyesterdayafterour game. It was very good timing as we had justbeatenthe Hoofdorp Pioneerstotakeoursemi-finals, and secure a spot in the Holland Series whichkicksoff in 10 days. I tookmy camera, popped a fewpictures of theplayers, fans andstaff all enjoyingsomequality grill action.
Aboutthe games, we had animpressive series. Thefirst game took 11 innings, but we finally tookit 1-0. Game two was my start, I want 6+ (albeitnotmy best start) we still won the game 3-0. In thethird game of the best of 5 series, we blewit open in the 5th, andranawaywithan 8-0 win. 3 shutouts, givingus 7 in a rowcountingthe last 4 games of the league play. That's 67 straight innings, between 8 pitchers without givingup a run (includingfinishingoffthe game beforethestreakwith 4 shutoutinnings). I was telling some of theguysyesterday, I'venever been a part of somethinglikethis. It'spretty special. Just have to keep on keeping on.

Always such a pleasure to read your blogs. It looks like you all had a great time, glad you jumped in a picture.
That was great timing ... 3 straight wins to make it to the Holland Series and to celebrate this nice spread of food and beer [+ wine]. Good to see all the familiar faces! That sate sauce looks so yummy ;)
